In order to obtain a travel document, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

1. One passport photo
2. A letter addressed to His Excellence, the Ambassador
3. A duly filled out form.
4. Proof of Residence or resident card (Permis de Séjour)
5. Angolan documents (attesting to citizenship, for example Passport, Identity Card, Full Birth Certificate)
6. Fees: CHF 40.-

N.B.: The full copy of the birth entry or the Birth Certificate must be duly authenticated by the Ministry of External Relations of Angola (validity of six months or less).
Important: All documents in a foreign language (except passport, international certificate of vaccinations and proof of flight and hotel bookings) must be previously translated into Portuguese by an official translator and authenticated by the local authorities (canton or federal notary/chancellery).
