For the transcription of a marriage certificate, the following documents are necessary:

1. Full Copy of Birth Entry
2. Consular Registration (Angolan citizen)
3. Birth Certificate and Identity Card of the betrothed (foreign)
4. Proof of residence of the betrotheds
5. Marriage Certificate (original)
6. Fees : CHF 180.-

N.B.: The full copy of the birth entry or the birth certificate must be duly authenticated by the Ministry of External Relations of Angola (validity of six months or less).
Important notice: All documents in a foreign language (except passport, international certificate of vaccination and proof of flight and hotel bookings) must be previously translated into Portuguese by an official translator and authenticated by the local authorities (canton or federal notary/chancellery).
