This visa shall be issued to holders of diplomatic passports, in possession of the following documents:

  1. A duly filled out form
  2. Diplomatic Passport
  3. Verbal note from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs or the Diplomatic Mission of the applicant country
  4. Copy of Letter of Request
  5. Two passport photos
  6. Copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination
  7. Fees: None

Note: 1 – The presence of the Visa Applicants is necessary for the collection of biometric data.    2 – The amount paid for the visa is not refundable.    3 – Days for Biometric data collection: Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 12h30.

okr OFFICIAL VISA

In order to obtain an official visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. A duly filled out form
  2. Official passport or United Nations Laissez-Passer
  3. Verbal note from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs or the Diplomatic Mission of the applicant country
  4. Copy of Letter of Request
  5. Two passport photos
  6. Copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination
  7. Fees: None

Note: 1 – The presence of the Visa Applicants is necessary for the collection of biometric data.  2 – The amount paid for the visa is not refundable.  3 – Days for Biometric data collection: Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 12h30.

okr TOURIST VISA

In order to obtain a tourist visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:
  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. International Certificate of Vaccination
  4. Reservation of Hotel, or confirmation of lodging by an Angolan citizen
  5. Proof of means of subsistence
  6. Passport and copy of the mainly used pages (Passport must must be valid for at least 1 year)
  7. Two passport photos
  8. Proof of travel ticket or flight booking
  9. Fees : CHF 70.-
  10. Multiple entries Visa – CHF 210.-

For urgencies, a further 25% of the value will be charged. N.B.:The applicants of this type of visa (valid for up to 30 days) must deliver the application dossier three weeks before the travel date. Note: 1 – The presence of the Visa Applicants is necessary for the collection of biometric data. 2 – The amount paid for the visa is not refundable. 3 – Days for Biometric data collection: Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 12h30. 4 – The visa is issued within 3 (three) weeks.

okr TRANSIT VISA

In order to obtain a transit visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. A duly filled out form
  2. International Certificate of Vaccination
  3. Two passport photos
  4. Photocopy of travel ticket
  5. Passport and copy of the mainly used pages
  6. Proof of visa to enter the destination country or exemption from it
  7. Fees : CHF 50

For urgencies, a further 25% of the value will be charged. N.B.:This visa is valid for a period of seven days. Note:  1 – The presence of the Visa Applicants is necessary for the collection of biometric data.  2 – The amount paid for the visa is not refundable. 3 – Days for Biometric data collection: Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 12h30.

okr SHORT-STAY VISA

Note:  1 The presence of the Visa Applicants is necessary for the collection of biometric data.   2 – The amount paid for the visa is not refundable.   3 – Days for Biometric data collection: Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 12h30. In order to obtain a short-stay visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. Passport and copy of the mainly used pages
  4. Two passport photos
  5. Copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination
  6. Proof of means of subsistence
  7. Stamped envelope for passport return
  8. Fees: CHF 80.-

For urgencies, a further 25% of the value will be charged. N.B.: 1- The applicants of this type of visa holding an invitation letter from an oil sector company must ensure that the Ministry of Oils acknowledge the letter. 2 – This type of visa is valid for a period of 7 days.

okr STUDY VISA

In order to obtain a study visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. Copy of certificate of criminal records
  4. Medical certificate from the country of origin
  5. Proof of means of subsistence
  6. Three passport photos
  7. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  8. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  9. Fees:

N.B.: All documents in a foreign language necessary to obtain a long-stay visa – up to 12 months must be duly translated into Portuguese and legalised by the chancellery of the relevant canton.

okr MEDICAL TREATMENT VISA

In order to obtain a medical treatment visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. Medical report from the country of origin
  4. Proof of medical appointment
  5. Document issued by the health institution to which the applicant shall be admitted
  6. Copy of certificate of criminal records from the country of origin
  7. Proof of means of subsistence
  8. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  9. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  10. Three passport photos
  11. Proof of payment of the migration flow
  12. Fees:

okr PRIVILEGED VISA

In order to obtain a privileged visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out formorm + Sheet + Folder
  3. Investor Certificate
  4. Proof of the Certificate of Capital Importation for the requested investment, issued by the banking authority
  5. Valid power of attorney in favour of the representative of the investor in Angola (if applicable)
  6. Copy of the certificate of criminal records from the country of origin
  7. Medical certificate issued at the country of origin
  8. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  9. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  10. Three passport photos
  11. Proof of payment of the migration flow
  12. Fees: CHF. 250.-

  2. Application from the contracting entity requesting the visa
  3. Employment contract or preliminary employment contract
  4. Opinion of MAPESS or of another supervisory authority
  5. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  6. Photocopy of the Official Gazette/Diário da República (on corporate constitution)
  7. Recent certificate of tax payment
  8. Certificate of academic and/or professional qualifications
  9. Curriculum Vitae
  10. Certificate of criminal records from the country of residence
  11. Medical certificate issued at the country of residence
  12. Three passport photos
  13. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  14. Fees: CHF 250.-

In order to obtain a temporary stay visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. Certificate of criminal records issued at the country of origin
  4. Medical certificate issued at the country of origin
  5. Proof of family relationship to national citizens
  6. Proof of means of subsistence and accommodation
  7. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  8. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  9. Three passport photos
  10. Proof of payment of the migration flow
  11. Fees: CHF 150.-
  12. For urgencies, a further 25% of the value will be charged.

In order to obtain a residence visa, the applicant must be in possession of the following documents:

  1. Applicant letter addressed to the Embassy
  2. A duly filled out form + Sheet + Folder
  3. Certificate of criminal records from the country of origin / residence
  4. Medical certificate issued at the country of residence
  5. Proof of sponsorship of the individual providing accommodation or proof of home ownership / lease.
  6. Proof of means of subsistence
  7. Declaration of commitment to the Angolan law
  8. Photocopy of the passport and of the mainly used pages
  9. Three passport photos
  10. Proof of payment of the migration flow
  11. Fees: CHF 200.-
